Kevin Plank, Under Armour CEO, asked us to create an impactful,theatrical wall incorporating different categories to engage consumers. My role was sketching and brainstorming side by side with Under Armour creative directors. And taking the final concept and ensuring quality to final production. Kevin Plank was thrilled with the final presentation and that directive was enrolled in retail channels across the U.S. as well as in Asia. Various graphic design posters done at IDL, including marketing for Design Week The goal was to create and produce an interactive game for youth featuring Stephen Curry at Macys in Herald Square, NYC. I lead the art direction and created all storyboard content from start to finish for multiple digital screens. This included typography, artwork for the retail walls, and wayfinding. I worked with a team to code, install, and produce. Deliverables included an interactive game with 2 story-telling screens and another dynamic interactive screen. In additional, I designed a separate dynamic selfie-taking installation with selection of athlete portraits. In my free time and during travels, I love photographing urban spaces and am attracted to empty spaces, color stories, flora, and architectural elements. This collection includes geography shots from Cape Kiwanda, Oregon; Maui, Hawaii; Los Angeles, California; Spokane, Washington; and Bisbee, Arizona. I won an internal design competition for funding the transformation of an old piano. My goal and design was to showcase raw materials as well some fun tech elements. The piano was stripped from its dark stain and restored to the original wood. Shelving and copper elements were added. When the piano keys were played, the typographical elements would light up and blink with the sounds. Plants were added to the sides and the back. A concrete bench was added with a wood top, matching the original wood. Artwork done for a gallery show. Dimensional illustration and typography.
