So last week I had a bit of a brain fart, lost the plot and was basically feeling rather down and generally pissed off with the world. As a mate of mine put it, I had the sads on .Last weekend we had a get together with the majority of members, associates and supporters from our chapter. It s the first time we ve been able to ride and party together since March due to covid... I think it s time for a Jaunt on the Bike before the silly season and I reckon Thursday will be a Great Day to head off, before some rain comes late that day. Tumbarumba will be an overnight stop via Cootamundra and maybe pick some cherries nearby. Then onto Jindabyne for lunch via Cabramurra and Khancoban, then head towards Mount Darragh and through to Merimbula.Just have to talk to... Yup, my youtube channel is finally live. This is my first vidoe (and one of the first I took), so be gentle with me. A popular mounting product, I have finally taken the plunge... still not what you could consider cheap, but 30% off is nothing to sneeze at. Like most Victorians in lockdown, i went wee bit cray cray in lockdown and missed seeing many of my mates. So, no brainer that a catch up and riding was an order from Dr.Bee (self prescribed). One thing I m good at is organising trips but Im not one to lead rides so my trip was predominantly self-lead ride. The attendees was sent a copy of the map and check points, everyone can ride at... Since returning to riding after a 25 year absence, a little over a year ago, I ve been riding a LAMS Versys 650. Great bike, I really can t say enough good about it. I m going to be riding it for at least 2-3 years to come, and I hope to become a much better rider in that time; and for that purpose, I probably couldn t pick a better motorcycle. It s fast beyond my capabilities, while still... The other day my son asked me to take his MT07 to work on Friday (today) because there s something weird with the rear brake. He said hey old man, OLD MAN. DAD. FATHER I was watching a replay of a classic 500gp race and wasn t paying attention to him. What son? . There s something wrong with the rear brake on my bike. It s kind of grinding really badly vibrating when I push hard on it.... Yep. We re finally allowed to have parties, eat smashed avo in public, and buy stuff from shops that we don t need - so to celebrate, we did absolutely none of that and buggered off into the Victorian interior. We had no plan, apart from: Let s go see stuff! , What stuff? , I dunno. Away from people. Enfield? , Where tf is Enfield? , Away from people! , Fcukit... let s just put camping...Foxy @ Concord - MOST and More!Riding practice sessions with the Foxy crew, Wednesdays @ Concord!Open to beginners practicing for MOST, or more experienced riders who just want to practice their skills.We will have the MOST elements measured and set up with cones.
