The California Native Plant Society is a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants. Its principal aims are to preserve the native flora and to add to the knowledge of members and the public at large. Our 2020 Virtual Wildflower Walks began with Light House Rd and Stornetta. Current Virtual Wildflower Walks/Tours also include: Kruse Rhododendron State Nature Reserve, Soda Springs, Hearn Gulch, Manchester, Van Damme, Russian Gulch, Jug Handle SNR, Glass Beach, Mackerricher and Ten Mile Dunes. Check back often for more Virtual Wildflower Tour updates. The Calypso News Letter has resumed publication with the September-October Issue! Continue to take advantage of the Calypso Archives and Virtual Wildflower Tours.Enjoy Being Outdoors! Stay Safe! Wear a Mask! Practice Social Distancing! The Dorothy King Young Chapter serves coastal Mendocino County, the northern coastal area of Sonoma County, and nearby areas. We host activities throughout the year for members and the general public.
