The Ann Arbor Skatepark officially reopens on Monday, June 8

Additional amenities to open in the Ann Arbor parks:
After reviewing Governor Whitmer’s latest order Ann Arbor Parks Recreation will reopen playgrounds as well as theAnn Arbor Skateparkon Monday, June 8. Signage at the playgrounds and Ann Arbor Skatepark will be updated by early next week. As a reminder, playground equipment and the Skatepark, is not cleaned or sanitized. Also, we ask that park users continue to practice safety protocols including remaining six feet apart from others.

Another update will be provided early next week regarding the status of outdoor pools and day camps. Thank you for your support.

Ann Arbor Skatepark

The Ann Arbor Skatepark opened on June 21, 2014. It's a 20,000 square foot skateboarding facility that is free to use, and open to the public. This skatepark is the result of a collaboration of community members, The Washtenaw County Parks Commission, The Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant, and The City of Ann Arbor.

The Ann Arbor Skatepark Located in Veterans Memorial Park, and is part of the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation system, and is open year round, regular park hours: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
