Described as 'an amazingly talented pianist' by Musica, Emma Abbate performs with many of the leading singers and instrumentalists of her generation.

Emma's latest release is Tournament for Twenty Fingers featuringpiano duets by 20th-century British composers together with Julian Perkinsfor BIS Records - the dischasbeen chosen asScala Radio's Album of the Weekend.

Emma has also made a series of recordings devoted to Italian vocal chamber music, the latest of which is the world-première Sera d'inverno: Songs by Ildebrando Pizzettiwith mezzo-soprano Hanna Hippon Resonus Classics. She previously recorded theworld-première disc Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco: Shakespeare Sonnetswith bass-baritoneAshley Riches, also on Resonus Classics.

Based in London, Emma is a professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, a staff coach at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and has taught at the Verbier Festival Academy.
