Patch to Sense Gastric Signals

Voler Systems helped G-Tech Medical develop the second generation of their patch to monitor gastrointestinal signals. The patches are worn for up to 6 days, collecting myoelectric data and sending it by Bluetooth LE to a smart phone. The patches are thin, comfortable and waterproof so the person wearing it can go about all their normal daily activities, including showering and light exercise. G-Tech’s CEO, Steve Axelrod, PhD, praised the Voler team as both very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with, even through the inevitable challenges and setbacks encountered in any novel, complex project.
