Bjørgulf Haukelidsæter Eidesen

CEO and Founder

Bjørgulf has a broad experience in the upstream energy business, from upstream, to midstream and downstream. In most of his previous roles he has developed projects from scratch, within commercial-, project- and technology business units. This has created a trail of exciting deliveries and a passion for this kind of work. Finally, what sets him apart is the combination of leadership skills, technology and project expertise and energy business knowledge.

Dan Jarle Flølo

CFO

Dan is an accomplished petroleum economist, petroleum tax specialist and business developer, as well as an experienced leader, having worked in several major E&P companies. Dan has a long experience working with natural gas and gas value chains, from positions in several E&P companies and Gassled MC positions. He was also the CEO of Njord Gas Infrastructure, the very first pure infrastructure owner company on the NCS.

Ellen Braune

Head of HSEQ and Drilling

Ellen is a highly motivated leader with operational experience from the E&P business, mainly within HSEQ and Drilling. Her strengths are to create good teams and an environment where everyone is striving to achieve the company goals. She have been in different roles through her more than 30 years in the business. Companies she has worked for are Norsk Hydro, Saga Petroleum, Statoil, BP, Revus Energy and Wintershall. The latest position she held was Head of Drilling and Wells in Wintershall.

Eivind Torheim

COO

Eivind is an accomplished field development manager and business developer, as well as an experienced leader, having worked in several major E&P companies. His technical background is reservoir technology. Eivind has long experience working with field development, projects and production as Head of Development in Wintershall, Production and Development Manager in Revus, and different technical and managerial positions in Elf, Shell and Enterprise Oil.

Emilie Ryen Jomark

Reservoir engineer

Emilie is a recently graduated reservoir engineer from the University of Bergen with a background in reservoir chemistry. Before joining the Horisont Energi team her previous experience from the industry was from R&D, with emphasis placed on reservoir simulation and data interpretation.

Morten Sola

Head of Geology & Geophysics

Morten has more than 30 years of E&P industry experience, - from the NCS, Middle East, Africa and Americas. He has served in managerial roles for the last 20 years, with roles in Statoil, BG, Maersk Oil, Sharp Reflections and in the advisory market. His background is geophysics and he is considered a true geoscientist, with both technical and commercial skills

Ronald Maritvold

Head of Reservoir engineering and Petrophysics

Ronald has 40 years of E&P industry experience in reservoir engineering with Elf, ExxonMobil, Total and lately in the advisory market. His experience encompasses exploration support, field development and production surveillance, both as operator and on fields operated by others on NCS. The latest position he held was Geoscience manager in Total Norge.

Ida Furru

Marine engineer

Ida is a naval architect from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with experience from the maritime supplier industry. At Horisont Energi she is working with ship systems and subsea solutions.

Ståle Brattebø

Engineering Manager

Has over 30 years of subsea experience, from contractors and oil companies. Management and board experience from developing a subsea start-up company to an exit, supported by private equity. Knowledge of NCS regulations and subsea standards. Experience with R&D and technical qualification of several subsea products and solutions. The Subsea system engineering experience is gained from all phases of subsea projects, including the offshore phase.

Ola Ravndal

Head of Shipping and Marine

Mr. Ravndal graduated from Newcastle University in 1992 and has spent most of his career as a professional within the shipping- and later the oil industry. He is specialized within Marine and process systems as found onboard special purpose vessels and FPSOs alike. Mr. Ravndal has been involved in many of the specialized gas projects within Statoil (Now Equinor) such as LPG, LNG, CO2 and CNG alike.

Tor Helge Storstein

Geoscientist

Tor Helge is a petroleum geoscientist from the University of Bergen, with additional expertise in land surveying from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Previous experience from exploration in Africa and South-America at Equinor, with tasks ranging from geological evaluations to automating workflows in Python. With his diverse background from multiple disciplines Tor Helge is a technically proficient problem solver.

Ula Linkute-Schrooyen

Legal Counsel

Ula has legal, audit and compliance experience from public and private companies. She started her career as a compliance auditor, later she worked in compliance field for worldwide known financial institutions and banks. In her previous position Ula worked in developing EU fisheries and maritime policy at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. One of her main responsibilities was preparation of EU legislation. She is used to liaise with various stakeholders, EU member states, competent authorities and EU institutions. Ula has an in-depth knowledge of EU institutional, legal and procedural frameworks.

Rasmus Holmer

Project Manager CCS

Rasmus has a broad experience with business and strategy development in the oil and gas business (DONG Energy) as well as several years’ experience from public administration (Ministry of Environment).

He has mainly worked with general management and project management focusing on business development, commercialization, business and organizational processes. Although it always has been within the range of his major interest for energy and environment.

Kjetil Stødle

Controller

Kjetil is an economist from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He has broad experience from the energy business working at PwC, Total E&P Norge and lately also as a consultant. His experience ranges from audit, market analysis, business development and various commercial roles. The latest position he held was Commercial manager at CleanCarbon AS

Lars Brenne

Head of Processing and Mechanical Technology

Lars has over 20 years of work experience from the oil and gas industry and holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. Successfully developed the Åsgard Subsea Compressor technology through 20-years of innovation. Creating direct value through knowledge, inventions and new digital solutions have also been key deliveries in previous work, as specialist engineer in Equinor and leading engineer in AkerBP. Lars has a passion for innovation and is focused on work contributions that make a difference, for the industry and the social community. He knows that people matter, making impossible things possible.

Malene Sandøy

Head of Safety & Barrier Management

Malene has 20+ years of experience from the Oil & Gas industry and holds a PhD in Risk Management from the University of Stavanger. She has worked with risk management, technical safety, and barrier management, and is dedicated to showing the connection between risks identified in the risk analysis to the actual technical safety barriers chosen. Malene is engaged in development of the Safety discipline and is active in standardization (NORSOK S-001 Technical Safety, NORSOK Z-013 Risk and Emergency Preparedness Assessment) and industry networks.

Nik Felbab

Principal Process Engineer

Nik is an award-winning Principal Process Engineer with full project lifecycle experience in the energy industry. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering, and prior to joining Horisont Energi has worked on both onshore and marine projects, most recently having developed a novel and highly successful LNG reliquefaction system based on mixed refrigerants from concept through to commissioning. His entire career has had a significant focus on innovation, with multiple patents granted or pending.

Gry Gundersen

Head of Accounting

Gry is a certified public accountant and has worked with accounting for the past 20 years. She has experience with customers in service industries, real estate, culture and sports. For the last few years she has been the head of a branch office of Azets Insight in Bryne. In Horisont Energi she will be responsible for the day-to-day running of accounting and finance.

Siri Melberg

Head of branding and communication

Siri has held different leading positions within marketing, strategic design and communication.
She has experience from different industries working with branding and communication for start-ups and well-established brands.
Her drive is to create and maintain strong brands.
She has an executive MBA in branding from the Norwegian School of Economics. Read more about us
