Feds arrest 2 in 2 separate terror plots in Toledo, Ohio
December 11, 2018This is getting close to home as this is my home town.

WASHINGTON — The FBI announced Monday it made arrests in two separate terror plots near Toledo, Ohio. Both suspects had been talking about and planning the attacks for months, authorities said.
According to the FBI, Elizabeth Lecron was obsessed with the idea of carrying out mass murder. She was arrested Saturday after she purchased black powder and screws for making a bomb. She told an undercover agent she wanted to target a Toledo bar, and also discussed bombing a pipeline or attacking a farm, officials said.

According to court documents, Lecron was active on social media. On Tumblr, she posted “photographs and comments glorifying mass murders like the Columbine shooters and Dylann Roof.”
Roof, a white supremacist, shot and killed nine African-Americans in a Charleston, South Carolina church in 2015.
In the weeks leading up to her arrest, Lecron wrote to Roof in prison. According to court papers, he wrote back, asking her to “mail him several books about civil uprisings and the Nazis.”
In the second Toledo case, the FBI said 21-year-old Damon Joseph, who investigators believe was radicalized by ISIS online, planned to target two Toledo area synagogues. Court papers allege he praised the October attack on a synagogue in Pittsburgh, telling an undercover FBI agent, “My opinion is the Jews are evil and they get what’s coming to them.”
Fortunato said Joseph wanted to carry out a similar mass shooting.“Days ago, he provided an undercover employee a draft plan which outlined general operational and logistical considerations for an attack,” Fortunato said.
In both cases, it was the words and the actions of the suspects that caught the attention of investigators. Because the FBI was tracking these cases for months, investigators said the public was not in danger.”
Those in the area thank the FBI for their diligent service.

No folks, this picture is not from a movie. This is the Arc de Triomphe in Paris a few days ago. Quite different from the monument I visited 20 years ago. I took the elevator to the top and looked out over one of the most famous streets in the world. The Champs Elysee. Home to LaCroix, Chanel, Dior. Now filled with broken glass, burned out cars and rubble.
But we aren’t supposed to know about this in America, are we. Not even Fox News hit on it very hard. Just a minor blurb. After all, they don’t want us Deplorables getting any ideas. Revolutions are not condoned in the US unless tea is dumped in Boston harbor.
France was ripe for another though. Brought on by socialism and of course the man who married the Mary Kay Letourneau of France, Emmanuel Macron. First we heard the reason was the green tax imposed by the Paris Climate Accords, just like the increase in the cost of subway fares in Brazil five years ago.
But it’s never just about the *tax.* The *tax* is the catalyst for an absolute major backlash because of the burden of government. Why else would Parisiennes chant “we want Trump.”
France, America isn’t going to bail you out again. LEARN. Half our population was fed up with the former regime we had before President Trump. Elections have consequences and our cops would never be seen like this.

Infamous words spoken by then Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the about-to-be-passed-Obamacare travesty. And for those who have forgotten (I doubt not many) here she is:
The last couple of days found me flumoxxed by a letter I received from Social Security. The boyfriend got the same letter. I’m two months new to Medicare and opted for the three parts: hospital which is A, doctor which is B, and part D which is drugs but I opted for this coverage NOT through Medicare; but a third party Medicare-approved insurer. So did he.
I was pretty much expecting what half of the letter said, but not the second half. The basic premium for Medicare part B is set, except for those whose income passes a set threshold; then the premium goes up by a tier system. My income was a tad more than the first threshold last year (thank you very much, President Trump) so Medicare was increasing my premium for part B. The same for the boyfriend.
But the second half of the letter was troubling and confusing: both of us were also getting our Medicare Part D premium increased as well, the drug portion, even though we both were paying a third party insurance company for the coverage. No premium at all to Medicare.
I looked on Medicare.gov for an explanation. Gobblety gook. So I called the insurance company who carries my drug coverage and got an unexpected explanation. Listen to Pelosi one more time.
Everyone on Medicare who has drug coverage, whether it’s through Medicare themselves or a third party, MUST PAY an increased premium if their income is over the threshold. This holds true for those on a pension plan whose premium is set, those on Medicare Advantage which is a bundled program, those who pay piece meal like myself and those who buy the coverage from Medicare directly.
In case I’m confusing you, this is what this is in a nutshell: I and thousands of others are paying Medicare for a service and product they aren’t providing.
This is akin to the city I live in sending me a bill for a service they do not provide because my income is more than my neighbor’s.
Pelosi, Reid, their ilk and the Community Organizer in Chief slipped this little tidbit into the UnAffordable Care Act. Socialism at its finest. I wonder how many take the time to question this, probably not a lot. I don’t mind paying a tad more for a service I’m receiving, but NOT for one I’m NOT receiving.
As someone on twitter pontificated a few days ago, she does look like she should be holding a clove of garlic.

August 21, 2018Back in March of this year Delta Airlines had to learn the hard way that folks in America don’t take lightly to any one person, group, company or entity infringing on their 2nd Amendment rights.
After reneging on flight discounts to those who were going to attend the NRA Conference in Dallas, the state of Georgia which owns Delta’s largest hub in Atlanta, decided to take back an offer for a $40 million tax abatement on fuel costs. Tough economically probably, but how else to make a point than to hit them in the pocket book.
But apparently other companies’ top management missed reading the papers during that period of time because others have gone ahead and tried the exact same thing: refusing to do business with companies who are gun dealers or support our 2nd amendment.
Before I even read who they were I had guessed rightly: CitiGroup and Bank of America. What a surprise. Both major recidivists in the wrong-way-to-do-business department.
The state of Louisiana must have taken some lessons from Georgia for they decided as well to kick them where it hurts most: again in the pocket book. The state has a $600 million highway project coming up and decided to block these two constitution haters from participating in issuing bonds.
In a 7-6 vote of the highway commission comes this salient quote:
“I personally believe the policies of these banks are an infringement on the rights of Louisiana citizens,” Bond Commission Chairman and State Treasurer John M. Schroder said in a statement. “As a veteran and former member of law enforcement, I take the Second Amendment very seriously.
In 2008 both companies under TARP AkA the “Troubled Asset Relief Program” received a $20 billion buy back of stock EACH from our government, namely the US taxpayers. It has since been repaid I will give them that.
Yep Citi and BoA, you have free speech rights but others have free speech to respond to yours.
