Thank you to all our Brothers & Sisters that participated in solidarity on the picket lines once again!
Your efforts have once again pushed the National Capital Road Builders Association (NCRBA) to make a better offer to end the strike.
As such, all picketing (strike activities) will be on hold until the ratification meeting and vote are held.
The offer will be presented at the ratification meeting that will be held this Sunday, July 24th, at the Ottawa Conference & Event Centre at 3:00 pm. Members working under the NCRBA should receive notice within the next couple of days.
Members who wish to return to work can do so at this time and members wishing to wait for the outcome of the ratification meeting and vote can do so also. No discipline or penalty will be imposed by either the Union or the Employers with regards to each member’s choice to return or wait.
For members choosing to wait, please sign yourself in as a participant at the Ottawa Conference & Event Centre main entrance (200 Coventry) each morning between 7:00 am and 8:00 am in order to receive your strike pay.
