A mountain lodge located on the border of Huascaran National Park, 30 minutes North East of Huaraz, at 3,670 meters or 12,000 feet. The Lazy Dog Inn provides authentic inter-cultural connection, acclimatization with direct access to world-class trekking, with comfortable and sustainable lodging. Explore some of the largest mountains and tropical glaciers this side of the meridian, all while connecting with the local indigenous population. More than just an eco-mountain lodge, we are also committed to making a positive impact within the local community through our NGO, Andean Alliance. Your stay with us directly supports the local area’s economy through staff employment, purchase of locally produced goods, lunches in local homes and through the use of the services provided by the Yurac Yacu Community Center, an Andean Alliance initiative. An Eco Mountain Lodge offering spacious accommodations, fresh home cooked meals, hot baths or showers, fireplaces, private terraces, access to our sauna, free WiFi, and stunning vistas with exceptional access to the numerous activities the Cordillera Blanca Mountains and region have to offer. We offer Suites (Condor, Cashan), Cabins (Rima Rima, Cojup), an affordable Guestroom (Ranrapalca), and even the opportunity to sleep in a North American Tipi. The price for our Suites, Cabins and Guestroom includes fresh home-made meals (breakfast and dinner) using locally sourced ingredients and including many vegetables that come from our 7 greenhouses and on-site gardens.

Our rooms vary from a matrimonial (Condor), a family suite (Cashan), Cabins (Rima Rima, Cojup), a Guestroom (Ranrapalca), and a genuine North American Tipi. Our pricing includes a full North American style breakfast, farm-to-table 4 course dinner, maps of the local trails, filtered water, sauna, WIFI, tour of the cultural center and an herbal tea bar. For meals we use locally sourced ingredients including many vegetables that come from our 7 greenhouses and on-site gardens.
