About ADS-Limathon Limited

Analytical Database Systems was founded in 1994, endorsed by the Sheffield Technical Enterprise Council. Limathon Limited was formed in 1995, specifically to market ADS products. The two companies were combined in 1999, and the new company achieved ISO 9001 in the same year.

The major clinical product, BLIPS, was developed originally in 1995 in conjuction with the British Isles Lupus Assessment Group (BILAG) and has been continually improved over the following 18 years. It is currently on use in several clinical trials around the world.

From its base in Sheffield, using Limathon™ as it's trademark, ADS-Limathon Limited now develops and markets a range of database solutions for the IT, Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Analytical industries. The company also offers database consultancy, project management, and programme office services to these and all other sectors of industry and commerce.

The two original ADS products from 1994, HPLC Column Log and Instrument Manager, have both evolved into todays market leading products, known as HPLC Column Manager, and LIMA, and are now both at Version 6 of their release.

Limathon™ software is already used in over 30 countries around the world by major companies and research centres including :-
