Through critical contributions of goods, services and financial support we are able to have immeasurable impact on the most vulnerable communities in Costa Rica.Your financial support helps create sustainable programs for the CRHF population across a number of needs in Costa Rica.We have created a poverty eradication program which helps people achieve their dreams and have more wholesome and healthy lives. This program has proven successful in creating independent individuals who overtime no longer depend on the goods and services of the CRHF.One of our social enterprise initiatives is done in cooperation with Cafe Britt of Costa Rica. We improve livelihoods through crucial self-development programs which create lasting sustainable solutions. Over more than two decades we have sponsored thousands of youth in a variety of sports including in several championships. Sports is crucial in the development of healthy social and personal skills and provides a stimulating passtime. We provide a holistic approach which includes academic and psychological support.One of the main focuses of the CRHF is development through education. It is one of the foundations needed to improve quality of life. It is not only important for us to educate the local communities but also those visiting and providing goods and services to sensitize and create consciousness of what volunteers can do during and after visiting, to help create a more just world.Another basic foundation to ensure a prosperous life is health. Costa Rica has a universal public health system which provides good services. However, many of the communities we work with are too remote for health service access. We provide much needed mobile clinics, dental and eye check services in these communities in coordination with local government agencies. The United Nations 2030 Sustainable Goals are guidelines to create a sustainable future for generations to come.
