It s really not that hard to get an acceptable video for the competition. Here s an example:This is totally up to you, because as Shakespeare said, that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. The judges do not see the names. If you want the club to list your cat s name in the results with all titles and full registered name, go for it. If you want to see your cat listed with his superhero name, you can do that too. We have just one request. We are going to try to *UNOFFICIALLY* score the RQVEs and CITCC and keep track of the points for each cat. If you want to enter your cat in multiple shows and get credit for points from each show, use the same name in each show.Check out the updated schedule here. Different regions are holding them as fundraisers, but you are not limited to entering your own region. You can enter any RQVE, and you can enter all of them. The VCC portal requires exhibitors to first create an account, and you will be able to enter any show in VCC with this account. September 23rd, 2020 | Category: Uncategorized | Comments are closed Do the entries have to be current cats we might show, or can the photos be of previous cats shown years ago or photos taken years ago? That s a great question! Virtual Competitions are for your enjoyment, but are also fundraisers. We want you to have fun, and we want your entries. You may enter cats that you showed years ago or cats that you haven t been able to show yet. You can enter cats that you never showed. Whatever you want to do is great.Let s say you have a 10 year old cat that sleeps with you and cuddles on your lap every night and you love her so much that you want the world to remember her. You showed her when she was 2, and you have photos of her at the age of 2. Enter the photos and specify that the cat is 2 in the photos.Let s say you took some great photos of your cat when he was one year old and a whole male, but now he s an 8 year old neuter. Enter the photos, just be sure to use the age of one year, and enter him in championship because he is whole in the photos.Perhaps you had a cat with some disqualifying fault, like a locket or tail kink, but those faults don t show in the photo. You might never have shown the cat, but you can enter the photos that don t show those faults in the conformation classes. You might have an AOV that you never showed that you thought was spectacular, you can enter photos.We have some general requests we would like you to follow on our Guidelines page, please review those. Those of you with AOVs, unaccepted colors or non-CFA breeds, please read 10, 11, 12 on how to enter your cats. We are also trying to come up with a set of fun classes that will give you a place to enter lots of your fun photos. September 22nd, 2020 | Category: Uncategorized | Comments are closed The first RQVE is taking entries! The Great Lakes Region is first in our schedule of Regional Qualifier Virtual Events. To enter the ultimate CITCC event in the Championship, Kitten, Premiership and HHP photo classes, you must enter at least one RQVE. We will be scoring the RQVEs and posting a scoreboard after each, and a points ranking of all the cats competing just like epoints. You might want to enter all of the RQVEs and CITCC so that at the end, your cat can be nationally ranked! NEMO! The NEMO Virtual Cat Competition just closed with 650 entries! That s fantastic for the club. This show is the first to use CFA s Virtual Cat Competition interface, and we are hopeful that this will make it easier for other clubs to hold these fun competitions. The CITCC will be using the VCC interface. You can see the entries here. Check out the gallery, and be sure to vote in the Spectator s Choice competition for $1 per vote that goes to the club. As you can see from these entries, you don t have to have professional photos of your cats for a virtual competition. You just have to want to have fun!Get your photos ready!
