What impressed me most were the amazing graphics, the vibrant landscapes and the realism of the horse movements.Star Stable is a product owned by World of Horsecraft AB, creators of the popular computer games Starshine Legacy, Star Academy and the Star Stable series. Star Stable Online (SSO) is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or MMORPG and is currently available in English, German, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian and French.
The island of Jorvik is where this huge 3D world of Star Stable unfolds. Jorvik is known for it's friendly people, beautiful nature, vast natural resources, and most of all, horseback riding and adventure. There are many factions of people, some friendly, some mystical, some fun, and some that are outright hostile.
Players starts at Moorland Stables to practice their riding during a summer camp and are asked to help with various tasks around the island. By participating in the various quests and races, players can increase their 'reputation' among the different factions and increase the level of their horse, which in turn allows players to buy better quality clothing for themselves and equipment for their horse. As players build up their reputation, mysterious things start to happen.
Paige Nightlee has played Star Stable Online, on the Australian server, every day since joining and enjoyed the adventure, so much, she become a lifetime member within the first week. In the real world Paige is a mature aged adult, how old? Let's just say she is old enough to have 3 wonderful grand children and a loving husband who also plays SSO. This is a small insight into Paige Nightlee's experience inside the magical world of Star Stable Online.
Each player character has a unique name and the player chooses the rider's appearance, as well as that of their horse.
