And this year, COVID-19’s impact has only heightened the barriers these children face every day. However, there is hope! Gifts given to Show Hope’s Most Urgent Needs fund will go wherever the need is greatest—to the area of work that will make the greatest impact—directly helping to change the lives of children around the globe. Goal for Most Urgent Needs Fund: $175,000 Give To Most Urgent Needs Adoption Aid Every year, countless individuals consider growing their family through adoption, but only a small percentage actually move forward with the process. The financial barrier that exists within adoption is one of the main reasons for this.Goal for Adoption Aid Fund: $50,000 Give to Adoption Aid Medical Care Building on our Care Centers Legacy and expertise with Show Hope’s Adoption Aid grants, in November, we announced our newest endeavor: Medical Care. As families come to know financial resources are available to help offset medical expenses related to caring for their child’s complex needs, our hope is families will feel more confident and supported in their journeys to love and care well for their children who have joined their family through adoption.Will you partner with us as we continue to invite more families into a journey of hope with their children, reminding them of the help, healing, and connection possible in the days ahead? Goal for Medical Care Fund: $50,000 Give to Medical Care Pre+Post Adoption Support The coming year is a critical one for Show Hope’s Pre+Post Adoption Support work. In April, we are launching our new Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly the Empowered to Connect Conference) with a renewed focus on equipping parents and caregivers meeting the everyday needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care.This Christmas, will you consider a gift to Show Hope’s Pre+Post Adoption Support work and lock arms with us as we journey deeper with children and families impacted by adoption and/or foster care?Goal for Pre+Post Adoption Support Fund: $20,000 Give to Pre+Post Adoption Support Student Initiatives During our 2019–2020 fiscal year, more than 380 students—representing more than 25 groups—participated in Pause Campaign. For 2021, we want to keep that momentum going and SEE even more students engaged and mobilized to care for waiting children and families on the adoption journey.
