It was a shame how the schedule panned out on Saturday with four women s matches all going on at the same time, yet nothing for the first two hours of the day. Anyway, focus back on the women where we witnessed, The middle Saturday of the US Open is always my favourite day of the tournament as the work distractions subside. This particular middle Saturday promised so much with a cracking slate of third round matches. It started off flat with the first match but things soon got going. A shame that so many were late
