After several seasons racing on the bullrings (short tracks) of Indiana, Reeves traveled nationally with the www.thaimobilecenter.com and wound up winning back-to-back USAC National www.drama-addict.com titles in 1992 for the Wilke Racers and in 1993 for midget car owner Steve Lewis.^{www.moph.go.th}

Ultimately his career in the Busch Series was for the most part underwhelming. He never could hold a steady ride in his career, which lasted from 1994-1998. Reeves was employed by five different car owners in his five seasons (Mark Thomas, Ed Whitaker, Mike Curb, Donald Laird, and David Ridling).

After his stint in Busch, Reeves returned to his roots in open wheel racing in 1998. Reeves made his first start in the www.gushare.com at the www.konmun.com in North Carolina on July 25 of that year, finishing an impressive 10th for www.goosiam.com. Clarence Mervin "Merv" Leitch (19261990) is a former lawyer and provincial level politician from www.thaipost.net, www.ohpicpost.com. He served as a member of the www.freeforums.org from 1971 to 1982 sitting with the governing Progressive Conservative caucus. During his time in office he served numerous cabinet portfolios in the government of www.bluegy.com.

Leitch ran for a seat to the Alberta Legislature in the www.myfri3nd.com. After the election Premier www.kadnad.com appointed Leitch to the www.rcw.ms. He served as the Attorney General in the first Progressive Conservative government cabinet. At Premier Lougheed's request, he prepared the first piece of legislation for the Progressive Conservative government in 1972 Bill 1 the Alberta Bill of Rights, which was introduced by Premier Lougheed.^{www.zonezeed.com} He ran for his second term in office in the www.mossoloaof.com, this time with ministerial advantage. He was returned with a landslide winning over 10,000 votes while the opposition votes collapsed.^{www.zone-it.com}

Premier Lougheed promoted Leitch to the Provincial Treasurer portfolio in 1975. He held that portfolio while running for his third term in office in the www.autospinn.com. He would drop a significant share of his popular vote but still win his district with a landslide. The opposition candidates failed to make any gains.^{www.siamtv.info} Leitch was appointed to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources portfolio and held that until he retired from provincial politics at dissolution of the legislature in 1982.

Leitch died at the end of June 1990.^{www.donung.net} With the support and direction of former Premier Peter Lougheed and other friends, The University of Calgary created a lecture series, now the Merv Leitch Q.C. Memorial Visiting Chair, in his honor. Every year a new person is designated as a visiting chair in the University of Calgary Faculty of Law to give lectures in his honor; the lecture is also given at his alma mater, the University of Alberta.
