Hi Yogis.I m so excited to announce that the 11th year of Lake Erie Beach Yoga begins May 29, 2021!For those of you who can t make it to the beach, I am still providing a safe online virtual yoga studio so we can come together as a community online. You can join my live-streaming classes via Zoom using your laptop, tablet, or smartphone, and if you like, turn your video on so you can join in the conversation before and after class. Every class is recorded so you can also join the class wherever and whenever you like!If you are in Akron, I am still teaching the 9:30 AM Slow Flow Meditation classes at Yoga Bliss Akron on Tuesdays. Maria incorporates uplifting messages, playful class themes, the spiritual teachings of yoga, laughter, smiles, and at least one very enthusiastic “Woo hoooo!” into her classes. Maria has turned to the restorative power of yoga several times in her life. Initially, the practice of yoga helped Maria find physical relief from the chronic pain of scoliosis, diagnosed in her teens. Later in her life, Maria turned to yoga again after extreme stress from a consuming career that took a toll on her body and mind. Maria discovered that through the physical and spiritual healing of yoga and meditation she was finally able to leave her aching back and stress behind. Yoga has brought Maria better health, a peaceful soul, and a satisfying, balanced way of living that eventually led her to her life’s true calling.
