Calgary Girls Charter School (CGCS) is a public charter for girls and young women. CGCS aspires to supportthese young women and girls to go after their goals and help eliminate any obstacles along the way. Our current Go Girls program was developed by CGCS teachers in 2008. This curriculum is unique to our school and is interwoven into our everyday teaching and learning. There are six essential program foundations, which are explored through multiple lenses in each grade. of girls’ school students feel their voices – their opinions – are respected compared to 58% of girls at coed schools.—Dr. Richard A.
