Principal's Message

A New Perspective of Education

Dear Children, we are in the world of drastic transformation. The pandemic has affected in each point of our life, and has made great effects in our life routine. In various perspective and life modes the pandemic has taught us something different. We have learnt to be sufficient with what we have.

Education is not on the point of getting some scores or grades, but to see our life in various perspectives in various strands of our life. Being human and showing humane is different which we need to train ourselves. "Being human means you are capable of caring and looking at every life with a sense of tenderness: sadhguru".

Parents are always asked to do so "Don't educate your child to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up, they will know the value of things, not the price". Yes! Life needs to be valued. Moral values are being displaced. Love, Faith, Hope, kindness and fellowship have great stand in our daily life. As I told before about the displacement here is an example. "If you're helping someone and expecting something in return, you're doing business not kindness". This is a part of displacement that is taking place in our society at present.

We need to build a broad perspective. Need to look beyond the frames that are hiding or binding the life values. Going beyond the frames is like a storm breaking activity. But not all storms come to disrupt our life; some come to clear our path. It is difficult to find progress in comfort zone. Need to come out our comfort zone because then only we would find life and growth. Therefore my dear children lets educate our life with love which is much powerful to save the whole world, the whole mankind. Let us dive in to the deep oceans of the sky and find our destiny to be a bright star.

About St. Stephen's School

St. Stephen's English Medium School (SSEMS) is situated at Kattanam, within Kattanam Valliapally complex. It is named after St. Stephens, the first martyr of Christendom. The school started functioning in August 2010 with the formal inauguration at the hands of Shri G. Sudhakaran. Hon. Minister in the State Government of Kerala .From a modest beginning with an initial strength of 130 students spread over Playschool Kindergarten and Class 1. The school was later brought under the management of the St.Stephen's Orthodox Syrian Church Charitable society, which was established in 2016 as a St.Stephen's Orthodox Syrian Church Charitable society registered under Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 (Reg.No.ALP/TC/556/2016 dated November 30,2016.)
