Hey. Thanks for stopping by. I’m a pianist, composer and producer steidit in Edinburgh. I started playing the piano at around age six or seven, and afore lang I was improvising and composing. I played a concert of my ain piano compositions in school aged 11, and enjoyed being involved in all aspects of the creative process.
My previous recording, Kinesis EP, features four free jazz improvisations melling thegither the strecht-aheid and the contemporar.
My influences as a player and composer include Brad Mehldau, Keith Jarrett, Thelonious Monk, Nils Frahm, Fryderyk Chopin, Esbjörn Svensson and Jason Moran.
With the three nocturnes that make up my new EP, I’ve enjoyed writing and recording in a mair neo-classical style.

He never fails to play with a compelling logic and sense of development and the improviser's trap of aimlessness is avoided, the most so coherent it’s almost as if the pieces were prepared.
