TicketsJugaadfest is a gathering of developers and FOSS contributors who get together to learn, share, and hack on Open Source projects for one day with the goal of making things work. 30+ mentors and successful FOSSASIA Google Summer of Code students from India and Europe will guide you during the day. At Jugaadfest you can:
join various hands-on activities, e.g. set up FOSSASIA apps, install conversational voice assistants, do experiments with PSLablearn from developers how to find innovative fixes or simple work-arounds to get FOSSASIA prototypes workinglearn how to build up an awesome developer profile that improves your job chances by collaborating in the FOSS communityimprove your coding and tech skills while contributing to open source software and hardware projects enjoy presentations conducted by veteran developersJugaadfest is a hands-on event. Please bring your laptop.
We kick-off in the morning with short introductions by developers of FOSS projects. After that participants have the chance to join teams at different tables and start learning and collaborating on Open Tech projects.
At the lunch break participants mingle and discuss what they have learned before they continue browsing projects. At the end of the event day we ask developers to share their learnings in short lightning talks.
Certificates: Participants of Jugaadfest receive a certificate of participation. (Prerequisite: Full-day participation)

Dr. K.V.N. Sunitha
Principal BVRITDr K.V.N.Sunitha completed her B.Tech ECE from NagarjunaUniversity, M.Tech Computer Science from REC Warangal. She is awarded Ph.D from JNTU, Hyderabad in 2006. Her areas of research include Natural Language Processing, Speech Processing, Network & Web Security. She has published more than 125 papers in International & National Journals and conferences. She is fellow of Institute of engineers, Sr member for IEEE & International association CSIT, and life member of many technical associations like CSI and ACM.
Harsh Lathwal
Developer/Mentor FOSSASIAHarsh is one of the leading Linux experts at FOSSASIA. He is the architect of the beautiful Linux OS and OS generator Meilix.
Mario Behling
Co-Founder FOSSASIAMario Behling is the Co-Founder of FOSSASIA and CEO of OpnTec. He is a technologist with 15 years of experience in leading international development teams in Europe, Asia and India. He helped to get FOSSASIA started and advises Open Source Neurotech projects in Germany. Mario also designed and build a seven storey eco-hotel in Vietnam and setup mesh networks in Afghan schools.
Niranjan Rajendran
Mentor FOSSASIANiranjan is a core developer of Open Event and responsible for cloud deployments with Kubernetes. He is a long-term mentor and co-author of Best Practices at FOSSASIA.
Ritika Motwani
Eventyay Developer FOSSASIARitika is a finalist in the Codeheat coding contest and a long term contributor to the Open Event backend project using Python and Flask. She is also a successful Google Summer of Code student.
Saptak Sengupta
Eventyay Senior Developer FOSSASIASaptak Sengupta is a developer and enthusiast, who weirdly loves frontend development as much as he loves backend development. He works mainly in Python, Javascript, and PHP. Besides, he has been contributing to various open source organizations like FOSSASIA, jQuery, etc and works full time in Gitcoin.
