About Cube

SPACE FOR INNOVATION

The Nova Scotia Sandbox Project is a collaborative initiative hosted by the universities and NSCC which brings together students, mentors and advisers to develop an entrepreneurial mindset to bring into any work environment.

Developed through a partnership between NSCC campuses of Burridge, Digby and Shelburne, and the Université Sainte-Anne the Cube is part of this Sandbox initiative for Southwest Nova Scotia. It acts as a catalyst for creativity and innovation while building capacity for ideation and entrepreneurship.

THE VISION

One Sandbox, four sites across Southwest Nova Scotia creating synergy for post-secondary students and community members to engage in the development of an innovative entrepreneurial mindset.

The Cube was created to support both post-secondary students and the local community with exploration of potential entrepreneurial development. Activities and sessions on overarching themes are offered at each Cube site, and, additionally, each of them has its own area of focus.
