About Us

Established in 2018, in the burgeoning Steelepointe Harbor of Bridgeport, CT, our newest facility maintains features and amenities unlike any other. With over 50,000 sq. footage and a diverse range of lift capability including a 75-MT, 200-MT & the recently debuted 700-MT Travelift, our hauling capabilities can handle many of the biggest boats that travel through Long Island Sound.

Porter & Chester Scholarship Opportunity

Bridgeport Boatworks and Hornblower Marine have teamed up to offer six scholarships to students attending Porter and Chester Institute on the Bridgeport campus. Valued at $2,500 per student, this scholarship opportunity will be dedicated to local Bridgeport residents, and will continue to establish the Bridgeport waterfront as a maritime industry leader and developing job center.

Economic Growth in Bridgeport

Bridgeport Boatworks is proud to have accepted the Paul S. Timpanelli Leadership in Economical Development Award from the Bridgeport Regional Business Council in December of 2022. With the addition of the 700 Megaton Lift and leaders in sailmaking, North Sails, bringing their headquarters to our facility; we are seeing massive growth to Bridgeport Harbor, new jobs, and a revitalized marine industry in the area.
