We are the Center for Innovation, Design, and Digital Learning (CIDDL), a national center to improve faculty capacity to use educational technology in special education, early intervention, related services preparation and leadership personnel preparation programs.

CIDDL Community

We started a community of higher education faculty members focused on sharing tips and tricks, research-based practices, and strategies for innovative use of educational technology in educator or leadership preparation programs.

This is a place where we build connectedness, share varied opinions, and bring together our knowledge about leveraging technology to support all students.

UDL Implementation in Teacher Preparation Programs

How are you preparing your teacher candidates for better serving students with diverse learning needs in inclusive education settings when they enter the profession? Have you applied and modeled the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in your preparation programs as a way to support learner variability? Join CIDDL as they invite Dr. Stephanie Craig and Ann Kaufman from Marietta College to discuss how they prepare pre-service teachers for UDL implementation, map UDL into their curriculum, and engage in an interactive Q&A session that will answer all your questions. This insightful conversation will be facilitated by Dr. Tara Courchaine from CAST and will leave you with useful resources and tools for preparing pre-service teachers for UDL.
