At PlayPass we are all about events and technology. Our offering is twofold. We provide RFID solutions to help clients gain valuable insight into the operational flow of an event. We also enhance and streamline the event experience for all parties involved from the promotional organization to the event visitor to the event’s partners and sponsors. Our focus is on festivals, sporting events, trade shows and concert halls.
We bundle our solutions offering into one modular platform that consists of 4 different services, with each service also being offered a la carte. The strength of our platform lies in the cohesion between all services achieved via the platform. From the moment gates open at an event our real-time reporting tracks and displays the number of visitors on-site, which brands and activations are of interest to that visitor and what they consume and purchase.

Our cashless payment system can greatly limit or eliminate on-site cash handling, reducing potential loss and providing valuable insight into food and beverage sales. Visitors can top up money on their wristbands prior to the start of the event. And during the event automated top-ups can also be authorized making queuing at ATMs no longer necessary.The PlayPass cashless payments system runs completely offline to ensure constant cashless transactions. Online connection, however, is required for real-time reporting.

An easy-to-use online registration tool to manage accreditations for crew, guests, artists and all other known relations which need to access the event.
The moment a registration is approved entrance vouchers will automaticly be generated and e-mailed to the person involved. Upon arriving at the event a personalized wristband can be printed for access control purposes.
Access control
From standard tickets to RFID wristband scanning. To manage public entrances and/or to streamline the entrance flow to specific areas such as VIP-decks, backstage, alcohol-restricted areas or artist’s village. Eliminate ticket fraud, guarantee a smooth entrance flow and get real-time insight into the exact number of attendees on site.

Brands are intrinsic to today's event experience. To create genuine brand awereness, however, festivals must now go beyond logo placements and banners. RFID-enabled wristbands can bring the relationship between brands and event-goers to the next level. Brand activations become measurable simply by asking event-goers to swipe their wristband. When social media accounts are linked to wristbands, visitors can easily share their event experiences online.

Depending on the services required, Playpass advises it’s clients on the most appropriate scanning technology for use. We offer solutions based on barcode, QR code, RFID and NFC scanning. For crew and staff eID, scanning can also be integrated.

RFID or Radio Frequency Identification is a wireless technology used to transfer data between an RFID reader and an RFID tag, RFID can be integrated into a wristband or membership card. Each tag then contains a unique ID associated with and identifiable to the individual event visitor wearing the RFID consumable (card or band.)
For events, RFID is used primarily for access control, brand activation and cashless payments, creating significant advantages for event organizers, sponsoring brands and visitors alike.
Organisation
Valuable insight
Using RFID means gathering data. Data that helps to get valuable insight. Real-time or post event. From knowing how many visitors are actually on site, to mapping out - from a security point of view - how many people are situated at a specific area, to get a clear view on food & beverage turnover per bar.
Limit fraud
Linking an entry ticket to a RFID wristband (or any other RFID consumable) makes it a unique. Visitors can’t pass on their wristband anymore so ticket fraud is no longer possible.
When using RFID for cashless payments cash money and/or tokens are no longer needed. No more stolen money and tokens.
Optimizing costs
For access control RFID equals a faster and easier flow. Due to a more secure level of control less crew is needed. When using the automated turnstiles the crew at the entrance can be reduced to a minimum.
Getting rid of cash money and/or tokens stands for less on site cash handling and token counting. Post event analyzes are no longer needed to deal with caterers.
Brands
Brands invest a lot of time and money to create original campaigns to attract as many visotors as possible during an event. Offering the opportunity to easily collect data from all these people will help them to optimize their return on the investment (roi).
When a RIFD tag is linked with the id of the visitor or even his social profile, a simple swipe will enable a flow of information and possible communication between the brand and a visitor and his social network friends.
A bridge is made from offline experiences and events towards the online world. After the event visitors can be approached based on likes, interest and shares.
Visitors
The advantages of RFID-supported events are felt the most by visitors. With decreased wait times and increased convenience and flow into and around an event, organizers can insure their fans have a seamless experience throughout the event.
Cashless payment
All regular visitors to European festivals hold a collection of unused and non-refundable tokens. By digitizing the tokens and money flow at an event refunding visitors’ unused funds becomes seamless. This has a positive impact on pre-sales as well as at the point of purchase. As visitors can expect to be refunded, they typically purchase more credits, which results in a higher consumption as it becomes easier to purchase. Intelligent top-up systems are automatically linked with a visitor's credit card or bank account making it possible to reduce queues at token- vending areas and further improve the experience. With average transaction times in the seconds, bar and other vending runs far more smoothly and in turn increasing organizer’s profits.
Access control
As every event begins at the entrance gates, it is important that the visitor’s experience begin well. By using RFID for access control a higher number of visitors can be handled, thereby shrinking and sometimes eliminating lines altogether and making in/out flow faster and easier.
Brand activation
Powerful interactions can be created between visitors and sponsoring brands using RFID technology. In return for the data they share by registering their bands and the extra brand awareness they create by participating in social media activations, visitors can also be rewarded. On-site opportunities can be created for visitors to enter contests or to participate in raffles via the swipe of their wristband or when accepting discounts offered on event merchandise. Even after the event is over, the RFID wristband can be used to give access to related venues or events (i.e. free museum visit).

Bij een eventueel verlies van je Club ID Card kan je deze via de Club app ook makkelijk blokkeren. Je resterende saldo zal automatisch naar je Club ID worden getransfereerd.
