Now in our 18th year, the Newburyport Documentary Film Festival is happy to announce that we plan to be back in person for our full festival lineup.

Over the weekend of September 16-18, we'll offer a full slate of provocative, poignant, and fun documentaries at our two partner venues, the Firehouse Center for the Arts and the Screening Room. We're planning Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, panel discussions, receptions, after-parties, this year's YES (Young Emerging Filmmaker Showcase) Award, and much more.

Can't make it in person, or can't make every film you'd like to see? We will make every title available to stream in our virtual cinema throughout the week following the festival (Sept. 19-25).
