It is located in the city’s central business district surrounded by the Library, the Bicentennial Hall, Council Chambers and Offices, Restaurants, Pubs and the Retail Sector.‘The Q’ – Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre is a 346 seat venue that provides a warm, intimate atmosphere popular with both performers and audiences. The seating is very comfortable, with plenty of leg room and every seat in the house has an excellent view of the stage. The design and configuration provides opportunity for live theatre productions, music, dance school concerts, conferences, movies, music or film festivals, award ceremonies, digital, video and audio recordings, television or radio broadcasts, school events, performing arts workshops etc.The venue offers access to all technical requirements regarding sound and lighting, an orchestra pit which can be covered, spacious dressing rooms, green room and a modern, friendly box office.
