Ganesalingam Narenthiran was one of the first to recognize the value of virtual meetings and to have the perseverance, organizational skills and energy to make international virtual meetings a reality. Some of us were sceptical about this venture but the case discussions on the listserv were interesting and soon other activities started viz. sharing important articles and personal experiences. The year-end conferences of the listserv started thereafter and Naren s interest in pediatric neurosurgery helped in more focussed approach to the subject. Recent addition of journal club is a welcome step.The recent Pandemic has popularized the digital platform substantially and capacity to carry out these activities is being increasingly exploited. Recent surgical and dissection courses have made us aware of the enormous potential. However, with Naren s long experience and innovative ideas, WNWC (World Neurosurgery Webinar Conference) 2020 promises to be a great meeting for the listserv and should find a much bigger reach for young neurosurgeons all over the world.
