Born March 29, 1942, in the town of Kalamaki, 12 kilometers southeast of Athens, Greece, in the middle of the Second World War, in a very turbulent period due to the fact that Greece was occupied by the Germans.He is a mechanical and aircraft engineer, food creator, innovator, food producer, philanthropist, writer, and certified work-a-holic.His father, Panagiotis, was a police officer who was born in Grammeno, Ioannina, Greece. His mother, Thekla, was born in Smyrna, Asia Minor to Greek parents.Spyros Peter Goudas immigrated to Canada in 1967, Canada's Centennial year. His homeland was in turmoil due to a political coup by the colonels of a military junta who established control over the Greek government.He singlehandedly revolutionalized the food industry in Canada by creating a line of products from all over the world.  His products satisfy the needs of the multicultural nature of Canada.In 1993, he was recognized by The National Council of Ethnic Canadian Business and Professional Association and in association with the Federal Business Development Bank, was named Entrepreneur of the Year.This award is given to individuals who created their own business, demonstrated a degree of innovation, made an impact in the industry and gave back to the community.This is a major achievement given the fact that he arrived in Canada, with no money, no knowledge of the English language and no friends or support from anyone, forcing him to sleep on the streets.In addition to the food creation, he wrote over 600 recipes and 42 books by the year 2010 with topics such as love of animals, birds, countries (such: Colombia, Costa Rica, and others), life incidents including eye disease like floaters,  leg and back injuries. These books have been published and distributed to organizations, associations, universities, etc, and some of the books have been translated into foreign languages.His biography titled "The Immigrant" is dedicated to All people moving to another country, facing a new culture, language and surroundings without any friends or any money.He is a philanthropist, supporter and contributor to the daily and year-round needs of many senior citizens organizations, associations, community events, sponsorship of radio and television programs, senior citizens homes, community housing sites (for various ethnic nationalities), Philanthropic Associations, charitable organizations, cultural organizations, scholarships events, Philoptochos Society organizations, orphanage housing, poor and underprivileged, sponsor to many worthy causes and individuals in absolute need, etc., etc.He is one of the pioneers of the Caribana festival, and pioneer in the integration of multicultural programming at CJMR Radio Station and CHIC 790 AM, Brampton Ontario and facilitated the changing of the Canadian law to allow individual multicultural programs without the requirement of 50 percent Canadian content.At his 65th birthday celebration, he announced that he will continue working thereby not allowing the tremendous experience he possessed in the food industry and creativity to go to waste.Floods in Pakistan, Tsunami in Sri Lanka,Earthquake in Haiti, Hurricane Gilbert in Jamaica Ivan in Grenada, Piura Feed The Children Organization,The Africa mission ,A trip to Ghana,  in the Philippines with Typhoon Haiyan,  poor and underprivileged,individuals in need, etc., etc etc.....Peter Spyros Goudas is a remarkable Canadian of Greek extraction. The Order of Canada recognizes “Outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation”.
