About our ProgramFrankston High School has led government sector schools in the use and application of personal notebook and tablet computers for the past 20 years.  Frankston High School was the first government school in Australia to implement a laptop program in 1995 and the first to move to a hybrid tablet program in 2006.Frankston High School made the decision to expand our long running tablet program to require all students entering Year 7 from 2015 onwards, to have their own Hybrid Tablet computer. This decision is based on the belief that a personal computer is an essential tool for secondary students in the 21st century. Sport at Frankston High SchoolFrankston High School is one of only a few secondary schools in Victoria to be designated an Exemplary Physical and Sport Education School. This is in recognition of our outstanding programs and success. For 17 consecutive years we have won the VSSSA State Athletics Championship, which is unprecedented in the history of government school sport. Over recent years state championships have been won in sports such as football, cricket, netball, rowing, tennis, badminton, hockey, basketball and equestrian. National and international titles have been achieved in athletics, life saving and swimming.
