Welcome, this site will enable you to find out about our current production, our future productions and events, as well as giving an insight into this, the premier amateur dramatic society in the area. SHREK - Notice of further postponement: To our loyal audience, supporters, cast crew, I hope this message finds you safe and well. When I had the regrettable task of announcing the postponement of Shrek in March 2020 because of the coronavirus outbreak, I was very optimistic that the country would soon return to normal and that we would be flying our freak flags for you in initially in September 2020, and then further postponed to March 2021. However, I totally underestimated the severity and speed of this deadly virus which has crippled the country and caused so much grief, heartache and chaos. It is with great regret that, after consultation with the Management of the Princes Hall, we have come to the conclusion that the direction of travel of the crisis together with the Government instructions on Social Distancing makes it impossible for us to perform for you this coming March as well. As such, we have no option other than to postpone Shrek once again. Nevertheless, we remain determined to showcase to you the incredible hard work and talent that has gone into this production which is now scheduled to be performed over the week of 31st August - 4th September 2021. To those of you who originally transferred your tickets to September 2020 we remain immensely grateful for your continued support and we hope to see you next March. The Princes Hall Box Office will shortly be making contact with all ticket holders directly to arrange this further exchange or offer a refund if you are unable to make the new performance dates in 2021. I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank David Phillips and all his amazing staff at Princes Hall for all their support. Naturally we are hugely disappointed that, for the first time since 1934, Cody will not be performing at any time in the year - particularly as this is our Centenary. Rest assured however that we shall be back performing for you just as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, I urge you all to continue to follow the Public Health England guidelines and stay safe and well.
