here's how I got started...
a 20 minute podcast by Crazy BeYOUtiful Wednesday, January 16, 2019 NEW STAMP/Stencil sets ">2 posts in 2 days!

the first set is...SCS 164...DELIGHTFUL ART

2 gorgeous larger statement floral stamps with coordinating sentiments...
the flowers have coordinating mat minis...
I've had fun with them...

SCS165...FRONT DOOR ARTthis set has coordinating mat minis for the door the 4 images on the right...they are toostinkin' tiny cute! see that flowerpot? it's a 2 parter the pot is only inch tall!
the door is fab for a mixed media homedecor art cards too!
this set has perfect sentiments that are quite useful missing from my line...




next is SCS166...A BASKET OF ARTthere are mat minis for all these images I must say...that bushel basket? my FAV! so many ways to fill it year round, with pumpkins to flowers to funky people...the multi-part bushel basket stencil is BEYOND cool! you might have spotted the bushel basket in yesterday's Ranger post...might be my fav!



the 4th set SCS 167 is ART FROM HOMEthere are mat minis for the 3 flowers, the plant a 2 part house mat mini...this is a fun one for a wedding,anniversaryor maybe just for your sweetheart...



there are 6 sets of NEW mat minis...each set is $4.99...
there are 4 sets to coordinate with the 4 new stamp/stencil sets and 2 are everyday MUST HAVE staples...
lets look at the STAPLES first...
I peeked the PICKET FENCES many times on social media they are going to be a hit...it's obvious you LOVED them too!
seriously a million uses...
the second mat mini set is called HEART FRAMES there are 4 frames 4 hearts in this set! so 4 sheets/8 pieces total...
2 are vertical 2 are horizontal,designed so they fit landscape portrait cards mixed media projects, in eitherorientation ...
use the heart alone, use the frame alone or use them popped back together...

the PICKET FENCE set has 2 sheets, that look like this...every size fence we need is there...12 fences in total...these are really fun you'll see many samples using them...



here are the 4 mat mini sets that coordinate with the new stamp sets...you can see some samples from the flyer too...





background stamps are a great investment because they are so versatile...

I have 4 NEW backgrounds!they are $10.95 each...
TINY FLORAL is from a vintage book we found at an antique mall...you'll see it on the mug sample below...this is a fun one to emboss, then add myBlendable ink over it...
below that is PIN POINT DOTSit's a great random/subtle background...it's fabulous to stamp over flowers/leaves for that extra little something! I have to hide it so it'snot on every sample...it's a good one!



below, on the top left is PLAID FLANNEL...
it's embossed with Ranger's vintage pearl embossing powder on the sample below...this stamp is also a good guy card background, done in darker colors...
the bottom right is REGISTER...awesome text...it is on an older set, but we've enlarged it to 4 x 5 now it's even better!
it's a really good background again...great overflowers to add texture...

but here's the scoop...

notice the spelling? STAY-tion...

that gives a good hint to the purpose of this tool...

included in the box are the 12 x 12 cornflower blue magnetic solid steel base...

it has grid 1/4 inch lines on the front and the back is solid cornflower blue...

the 4 included magnets are key!

they are brushed aluminum with a foam base...
they are strong, but DON'T stick together...

they WILL NOT BREAK and
they will NOT pinch fingers...

they are exactly what I asked for!

no need to mess them up with washi,
to pull them apart...
that's NOT NEEDED!
they are perfect and cute...
use them just as they are, right from the box!

the 4 magnets are a really important part of the STAY-tion...

the magnetic centering ruler isalso included in the box...
it has 1/8th, 1/4 full inchmarkings along the top and metric on the bottom, so the STAY-tion can be used world wide...

my original idea that I presented to Ranger, was a STAY-tion to hold stencils in place, so that we wouldn't need tape on the top of our cardstock/paper...

once I got my STAY-tion, I discovered that there are so many more uses...

the magnets hold stencils securely in place over cardstock. this frees your hands, to grab inks, detail blending tools, pastes...whatever you're using...

the magnets are strong even hold my mat minis in place!

the magnetic ruler gives us a straight line for glueing layers easily aligning sentiments...
and...the ruler is still a big magnet if you need it...

when arranging die cuts or layers, the magnets can be used to hold the card base perfectly straight in place, so that not everything ismoving all over...

this is MAGIC! it's like an extra pair of hands!

Iuse the magnets while layers or die cuts are drying...
I pop the magnet on move on to the next step...

the centering ruler is handy for just that...centeringwhatever needs to be centered...

I use theRanger 9 inch craft sheet on the STAY-tion as a portable heat embossing spot...
this is superconvenient...
the magnets hold the craft sheet in place...

extra work space! extra work space! extra drying/cooling space!

if you're a scrapbooker, I see this as a valuable tool for you too, since it's a 12 inch magnetic base...let the magnets hold your title in place while determining arrangement of your photos, embellishments, die cuts etc...

use the STAY-tion just ONCE you'll use it every time you...

MAKE ART!

it's a super handy tool. I had mine for 6 weeks had to send it back toRanger for photos I was seriously lost without it...

I keep reaching for the missing colors...
look at the pads...the base of the ink pads is nice and thick, making them very easy to grip...their smaller size makes them really nice to hold use...

below are some examples ofthe MAKE ARTBlendable colors...this is red geranium, poppy sunflower...

next we have...bluebird, fern green and prickly pear...

for this this next sample I used the blending tool to add inks thru the Stampers Anonymous circle grate stencil,
using cornflower blue, violet, then acorn...
these are all the MAKE ART Blendables...
keep in mind that they are translucent inks,so the more you add, the more color you get...I kept this sample pretty light,
compared to the veryfirst sample...
more ink means a darker color...
less ink it's a lighter color...



I stenciled red geranium, orange blossom, sunflower, prickly pear and garden patina for this one...quick easy background, using the intersecting circles stencil!


here's the very first test card I made using them...way back in JANUARY!
if you think it's been easy to keep quiet about them...trust me...
many days I thought I would explode!




if you look at that small 5 petal flower on the right...that blending is made possible by the detail blending tools...
these inks are the reason I wantedNEEDEDthe detail blending tools...

are perfect to use with the detail blending tools...the flower below shows that it couldn't be easier...that flower is a flat mat mini,
but looks really dimensional because of the shading...

they make a huge difference in your art!


in the photo below,you can see I used my archival inks and the new wendy vecchi MAKE ART Blendable inks on this card...
here are the colors I used...




here's another example of the awesome blending...
these colors look really pretty on my Ranger Perfect Grey cards...

the heart was embossed with Ranger's new silver tinsel embossing powder...

even those tiny flowers can be shaded,
using the detail blending tool...
they are a MUST HAVE!








I'm sure you're wondering if these newinksare the same formulation as Tim's distress inks ...
they are NOT...
this formula was created at Ranger for me!
and if you're wondering if I'm switching to these
ignoring my archival inks...
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
the Blendables were formulated to work together with thearchival inks perfectly!
