The Stratford Country Club Academy offers stimulating instructional packages that are designed to help improve all aspects of your game.
Our Story
The Stratford Country Club celebrated it’s 100th anniversary in 2013. In 1913, more than a century ago, Walter Miller of Stratford, was instrumental in acquiring the first parcel of land off of Romeo Street that would be developed into a permanent golf course for the city.
THE COURSE
The Stratford Country Club presents a challenging, mature 18 hole golf course that lies along the Avon River and provides just the right amount of challenge for golfers of all abilities! It is a golf club that traces its beginnings back to 1896 when William Maynard began golfing in the open fields north of the Avon River.
Weddings Events
With a complete renovation of the Banquet facility, including a new event patio and wedding area, the Stratford Country Club is becoming the wedding location of choice in Stratford, and Mid-Western Ontario. With the opportunity to have your wedding outdoors surrounded by the setting of a club that dates back to 1913, and the modern facilities of a fully renovated banquet hall, lounge and patio, our staff can customize your perfect day!
Curling
The Stratford Country Club has a four-sheet curling facilty that runs from November through March. Our leagues offer playing opportunities for novice and experienced curlers. Interested in learning how to curl? Join one of our two learn to curl sessions this season.
Weddings Events
The premiere wedding location in Stratford, and Mid-Western Ontario.
