After 11 years we finally decided there was one more and opted for a try. It has been a wonderfull yet confusing experience. I did not realize how much I had forgotten about everything. The first week I observed and got a feel for teaching and what management techniques work best. The second week I started teaching my unit on Trappers and Explorers of Utah. It was scary at first but then I eased into it. I am correcting a lot of students work and helping in math whenever I can. I am ready to start my third and final week today. This will conclude the unit on Trappers and Explorers in Utah. I am looking forward to Thursday when we have our trading blanket with the students. During the trading blanket students will bring from home garage sale type items to barter and trade with their fellow students at the mock rendezvous trading blanket. Wish me luck on my final week.
