Owner James Barrett, came from a construction and custom high end home building background, but has refined and honed his skills through education and years of disciplined making across various media and material, but woodworking has been his passion all along.
As a maker, James builds with a great pride in going against the grain of mass produced pieces of throwaway furniture. He feels a great sense of ownership in each piece that leaves his shop because of the responsible use of such beautiful materials. Learn more about us.

What Customers Are Saying
“Superb workmanship. Quality service. James is knowledgeable about the woods he uses and the use and care of cutting boards. He answered all of my questions quickly and to my satisfaction. My 8″x6″ walnut cutting board is not only beautiful but functional for preparing only a few items. The smooth surface on both sides cleans up easily.”View Our Furniture GalleryGo to Top
