What We Do
RESCUING HORSES, PONIES & DONKEYS
Take a look at some of our favourite stories of success from the A.R.C.H. Rescue Centre. Every equine in our care becomes part of our family and it is always a heart-warming moment to see them rehomed.

Once our horses and donkeys are fully rehabilitated, our main aim is to find them a forever home. We offer them for fostering or adoption depending on the status of their paperwork. There is an adoption procedure to be followed, but our work doesn’t end there. We do follow up checks on all our horses, ponies and donkeys.
ADOPTVOLUNTARY SUPPORT
We can only have a limited number of equines at our Rescue Centre at any one time. In cases where we are not able to take over the care of an abused equine we will always try and help in other ways, i.e. by liaising with other rescue centres. Our charity is staffed by volunteers and we depend on fundraising activities and donations to carry on our work. Your support will mean a great deal.

Maxi (Mr Black) - Available
Miniature Grey Stallion
Born 2012

Found abandoned, tied to a fence.
Maxi is healthy, full of himself, and a spectacular little mover.
He is also very friendly and easy to handle, but he has not been ridden.
Ideally, he needs someone who is experienced with miniatures and willing to give him the attention and love he deserves.
Rociero - Available
Bay gelding
150 cm
Born 1993
Available for foster as a companion horse, and possibly light riding by children.
A kind-natured, elderly horse, seized by SEPRONA near Seville, due to a lack of care and feed etc
Catalina - Available
Grey Donkey Jenny
Born 2006
Abandoned when her owner moved abroad, her hooves were left to grow too long and improperly shod, causing her tendons to stretch.
The specialist shoes made by our farrier have improved her condition and she is now looking for a suitable new home.
She is affectionate and will make a friendly companion.
Tangra - Available
Grey Mare
155 cm
Born 2000
Rescued from the closed down “zoo” in Ayamonte, Huelva.
Marco - Available
Donkey Stallion (Chemically castrated)
Born 2014
He is affectionate and has a gentle character.
Duke - Available
Black Shetland Pony Gelding
Born 2005
Good companion, can be ridden by very small children.

ARCH Christmas Special Sunday

The Annual ARCH Autumn Fest was a resounding success! We would like to thank all of the sponsors for the wonderful prizes in the Mega Raffle, and Mediterranean Homes for their sponsorship.
