From Seed to Heart

Through our From Seed to Heart initiative, we intend to hold a safe space for healing and knowledge-sharing this summer as part of K-Days in Edmonton, Alberta from July 21 – 30, 2022!

Reach for the Sky

For this project we developed and launched a unique Métis curriculum and program for 198 Métis youth participants to grow their leadership and employment skills. We are currently accepting applications for our second round of students. Apply now!

Gaining Knowledge

Through this project, we are providing advice to the federal government on Métis-specific Early Learning and Child Care from a gendered perspective. This is critical in ensuring Métis-specific ELCC programs are accessible and culturally safe.

Closing the Gap

This project aims to understand and address the data gaps and unmet needs when it comes to housing experiences of Métis women and 2SLGBTQQIA+ folks. Check out our newly released final report!

A Place From Which We Grow

In partnership with Women and Gender Equality Canada, we have embarked on a five-year project to develop a trauma-informed toolkit that will support and heal survivors of gender-based violence when they access service providers.

Advocacy: Grassroots to Government

We work closely with grassroots Métis organizations to advocate for their needs and to lift them up through strengths-based policy development and community building.

Every research project that we develop comes with toolkits and reports for individuals and governments to support Métis women and LGBTQ2S+ individuals. These resources are free to use and share.
