Kai Pasifika 2022

PTI New Zealand- Kai Pasifika, a celebration of Blue Pacific cuisine, will be at Peter Gordon's acclaimed Homeland restaurant at Westhaven, Auckland, in the week starting 3 October.

As a partnership between PTI New Zealand and Homeland, the premier waterfront restaurant that is celebrated as 'the food embassy for Aotearoa & the Pacific', the event will introduce unique ingredients from Pacific producers to New Zealand chefs, importers, distributors, food lovers, and media.

Freight Support Programme

PTI New Zealand - Pacific exporters struggling with increasing freight costs are now able to apply for the Pacific Trade Invest New Zealand (PTI NZ) Freight Support Programme (FSP). After an overwhelming response to last year’s previous programme, PTI New Zealand is once again offering small grants to offset rising freight costs.

The programme offers eligible businesses funding assistance for freight costs for the current year; grants of up to NZ$2,500 per enterprise will be administered on a cost share basis – which means businesses will be required to match the grant money they receive. Applications will be reviewed against the eligibility criteria by a selection panel.
