Application Equipment
The operator potential exposure to a pesticide depends on many factors, including the application method.
In this APP we are asking you to select from some who have been widely adopted. We are not considering here aerial applicators, granular applicators, foggers and misters used in applications in greenhouse.
Crop Development
The success of treatments done with pesticides solutions are closely linked with the foliage coverage by the pesticide spray. The choice of application system is particularly related with the development / height of crop which determine upward or downward applications.
Formulation
Pesticides are formulated to improve its storage, handling, safety, application, or effectiveness and there is international nomenclature to identify all formulations. In this APP we will ask only if the formulation is liquid or solid / powder
Powder / SolidLiquidnextClosed Transfer System
Closed transfer systems are used to transfer directly the pesticide from the original container to sprayer tank through a specific closed circuit making negligible the exposure of operator; it is a step forward the hopper induction system.
In this APP we want to know if you have a Closed Transfer System, not a hopper induction system.
