It's our 85th Anniversary! 85 years serving the community of Curacao.Eighty-five (85) years ago on March 10, the Rotary Club of Curacao (RCC) was founded, with the invaluable contribution of Jim Roth of the Rotary International. We are the second oldest Rotary Club in the Caribbean (after San Juan Puerto Rico).Masha Pabien to all our members! Community service is our passion. WE ARE PEOPLE OF ACTION! Rotary donates school furniture to Kolegio Bellefaas Martis Rotary Club of Curaçao (RCC) together with Stichting Help de Schoolkinderen van Curaçao unloaded a 40-foot container with over 360 donated school desks and chairs at recipient school Kolegio Bellefaas Martis. This project was executed in collaboration with Dutch Rotary Clubs of Oldenzaal and Neede.During the tour at Kolegio Bellefaas Martis last Thursday, representatives of the organizations involved took notice that this project truly satisfied the urgent need of their 350+ students.Sincere gratitude goes to Rotary Club of Oldenzaal (especially Mrs. Liesbeth Pieké), Rotary Club Neede (Mrs. Brechtje Haverkate), Stichting Help de Schoolkinderen van Curaçao and members of the Rotary Club of Curacao for the excellent collaboration.
