Urban Greening fights climate change, improves air quality, controls storm water runoff, reduces noise pollution, adds beauty, and boosts happiness.
OUR IMPACT
Since 1981, we have planted more than 60,000 street trees, almost half of San Francisco’s street tree canopy.
We water 500 trees every week, plant and care for 300 trees every month, and replace 12,000 sq ft. of concrete with drought tolerant and native gardens every year.
