DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ZIP UP HYpErbARIC UNITS AND MEDICAL GRADE?

When it comes to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy it’s all about the pressure. Different conditions require different pressures. At ATXHyperbarics we offer medical grade equipment which can operate at variable pressure rates including much higher pressures than soft chamber units. Lesser equipment may require many more hours to be spent inside the chamber in order to achieve similar results.

do you wear clothing during light therapy?

No, in order to get maximum light penetration all users will undress prior to entering PhotoBioModulation Bed. That said, the bed is in a private space with lockable door and towels for your comfort.

HOW CAN I GET A PRESCRIPTION?

Best bet is to simply get in touch with us via text, phone call, email or contact form so we can better understand how to assist you. From there we’ll either get you scheduled at our partner clinic, West Lake Medical Arts, (which is located in the same center as ATXHyperbarics) or work with your current Physician. All that is required of them is to fill out Physician Statement Form. Should they have any questions themselves we’ll be happy to help facilitate the process in anyway we can.

MOST COMMON CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PREVENT USE OF HYPERBARIC (HBOT)?

Sinus issues, cold, fever and certain condition involving the lungs and heart are contraindications for HBOT treatment. These are also factors in determining treatment pressure as we may be able to treat you at a lower setting until improvements are made. This is why medical grade HBOT requires a prescription and we do a client check in protocol before every treatment, safety is always most important

HOW MANY LIGHT SESSIONS DO YOU NEED TO NOTICE COLLAGEN INCREASE?

If it’s energy you’re looking for, a single session may have you experiencing what it’s like to have your cells working more productively. Once a good base is formed, clients can then enter into a maintenance phase consisting of two to four hours a month to keep the body responding to Oxygen saturation.
