All IP registered by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under the scheme is being incentivized.
CIPRPF shall facilitate process to register an IP and get reimbursement upto the limits prescribed under the scheme of Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Eligibility - Proprietorships, Partnership Firms and Companies registered under the MSME Act having the Udyog Aadhar. For more details click here
Trademark
The Trade Marks Act, inter alia, provides for registration of trademarks/servicemarks, domain names and filing of multi-class applications and increment of the term oftrademark registration, recognition of various trademarks such as, collective marks, well-knowntrademarks, etc., and protection from infringing activities such as, passing off of trademarks inthe form of penalties & damages.
Reimbursement upto Rs. 10,000/- under the scheme of Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on registration of Trademark.
Geographical Indications
India has a rich history of cultural and traditional inventions withina vast array of sectors such as handicraft, handloom and food items which are worthy of aspecial status and statutory protection however, since the passing of the GeographicalIndication (Registration and Protection), 1999, India has witnessed a mere 200 productregistrations with GI-tags. From Bengal’s Rossogulla to Maharashtra’s Pathani Sarees, fromKerala’s Kanchipurams sarees to Darjeeling’s Tea are some examples of the statutorilyprotected GI-tagged products which are manufactured and sourced from India. A GeographicalIndication could be a name or a sign used on a certain class of agriculture good, manufacturedgoods or natural goods or products as originating or manufactured from a certain specificgeographical area, location or region; where, the geographical area is indicative of quality of thesaid products and hence, enjoys reputation in the marker owing to the traditional know-howassociated with it.
Reimbursement upto Rs. 2 Lakhs under the scheme of Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on registration of GI.

Under the Patents and Designs Act, 1911, any invention with respect to a productor a process that is involving a novel step and is capable of industrial application can bepatented within the territory of India.
Reimbursement upto Rs. 1 Lakh towards Domestic Patent Registration and Reimbursement of Rs. 5 Lakh towards Foreign Patent Registration under the scheme of Building Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
