ALSYMEX designs and manufactures on- demand configurable presses for critical powder and glove boxes, incorporating high availability instrumentation and control, exhaust, automation and robotization.

With its proprietary designs, ALSYMEX is able to adapt its offer to any standard or custom requirements for glove boxes exposed to controlled atmospheres, gas sweeping or climatization; suitable for any nuclear, scientific or industrial application requiring a specific regulated atmosphere.

ALSYMEX has a unique know-how in designing and developing electric and hydraulic presses and in pressing reactive powders, in particular. Fostering its extensive intellectual property, it meets customers’ individual specifications in terms of reliability, productivity, size and maintainability.

These presses are used to manufacture different types of pellets, either of cylindrical or parallelepipedal shape, to be afterwards sintered. Dimensional accuracy is predetermined and surface finish must be perfect. Specificities of ALSYMEX presses lie in the fact that they are especially sturdy and accurate and are perfectly designed to meet specific requirements and constraints related to nuclear or other critical environments.

ALSYMEX offers a wide range of Butt Welding Fittings under the brand ALYNOX (elbows, tees, reducers) manufactured from seamless pipes, as well as three-piece mechanical fittings (ABF) and flanges. These accessories can be offered in the grade required by the end user and in accordance with standards (EN 10253, EN 13480, RCC-M or others).

ALSYMEX implements a special patented hydro-forming technique to manufacture seamless pipe fittings. These fittings are made from seamless standard pipes with controlled thicknesses for reinforcements as required for compliance with the RCC-M code and EN type A & B.

Implementing the transformation from a cold forming process makes it possible to use castings identical to the pipes used on the final installation and optimizes the metallurgical and mechanical qualities of the materials.

ALSYMEX manufactures and distributes an original product line of three-piece ABF fittings developed for special applications. The fittings are dismantlable and feature metal-to-metal sealings.

For clamps, ALSYMEX subcontracts forging operations using selected materials, then machines the blanks to EN standards or in accordance with specifications.

The company's machining equipment, including digitally controlled three- and four-axis machining centers and turning centers, makes it possible to fulfill all requests for machining of parts to customer specifications, in small, medium and large production runs.
