We are here to support you. #UMDSolidarity #BlackLivesMatterAbigail Meyer is a junior mechanical engineering student in University Honors. She is the team captain of the Terps Racing Baja team. The baja team designs, builds, and competes in intercollegiate competitions with an off road race car. Abigail is an active volunteer with the Women in Engineering Program, focusing on STEM nights for middle school-aged girls. She was a mentor in the WIE Mentoring Program, and she graduated from the Flexus program. Abigail will be interning this summer at Oshkosh Defense in Wisconsin.  Congratulations, Abby!  The Women in Engineering (WIE) Program is dedicated to promoting the role of women in the field of engineering. Our focus is on the recruitment of prospective female engineering students and the retention of current undergraduate and graduate female engineering students.The Women in Engineering Program in the Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland was established in January 1995 through a grant from the Sloan Foundation.Core PurposeTo produce engineers who value every voice and mobilize the power of community to thrive as global citizens and fearless agents of positive change.We invite you to stop by the WIE office any time.  We are located in Suite 1131 Glenn L.
