A successful future starts with Spectrum Schools and Programs

We teach students who need individualized resources and support the skills needed for a successful, more independent future.

When Hayden came to us, he displayed severely self-injurious behaviors, (hitting his head with his fists, banging his head against any hard surface near him, making statements such as, I want to die).

By the end of the school year (he was with us for almost one full year), he was able to transition to a district mild-moderate functional skills classroom.

We believe all students have value, can learn, and can develop their inherent talents to become contributing members of society. We specialize in providing education services to students who need intensive academic, social emotional, and behavior supports to build the skills they need for an independent and successful future.

Jadyn was mostly non-verbal when he started at Spectrum. Though Jadyn still requires some assistance and intervention in our Functional Skills Learning Environment, he has been able to complete almost all his instructional steps independently.

Jimmy is a third-grade student who joined Spectrum about a year ago, in our Integrated Classroom learning environment. Jimmy has responded positively to the Behavioral Support strategies we implement in our programs and has made significant strides in managing and reducing his behavioral challenges. Jimmy is currently thriving in his learning environment

Orion started with Spectrum three years ago in our Academic Skills Classroom learning environment. Orion had some challenging behavioral issues and needed the extra support offered from a non-public school. During Orions time with us, he worked on problem-solving skills, managing his behaviors, and social-emotional challenges all through personalized behavior support services, including 1:1 sessions with a Spectrum therapist.
