Conference OverviewIEEE PerCom is the premier annual scholarly venue in pervasive computing andcommunications. In 2022, PerCom will be held in Pisa, which is known for its precious gothic and renaissance-style buildings including the world-famous leaning tower as well as art and culture in general.
Pervasive computing is constantly at the forefront ofmobilesystems research, and has found its way into many commercial systems due totremendous advances in a broad spectrum of technologiesand topics such aswireless networking, mobile and distributed computing, sensor systems, ambientintelligence, and smart devices.
PerCom 2022 will be a hybrid physical/virtual event. The boundary between thetwo modalities will be defined based on the pandemicconditions worldwide.
All papers of the main conferenceand co-located events will be published in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions in PerCom 2022 special issue organised by Elsevier Pervasive and Mobile Computing.
