Covid-19 update 25th Oct 2020 MAIL ORDER UPDATE We are currently having problems with the website and carriage calculations on some orders (mainly 15 litre pots), sincere apologies for this. If you are affected by this we will be in contact with you. Our web developers are aware and are looking into the problem, sorry for any inconvenience. *We are now operating a full mail order service, despatching Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs. Orders are usually despatched within a week of ordering*   VISITING THE NURSERY The nursery, restaurant and red barn are fully open as usual, every day from 9am-5pm. We are kindly asking for you to observe strict social distancing rules at all times and 2 metres where possible. In line with government guidelines we would kindly ask you to wear a mask at all times whilst in the gallery/ shop and whilst entering and moving around in the restaurant. OUR GARDENS Thank you to all who supported us and the Hospice at Home this season we have now raised over £14,000 for this good cause. Our gardens and chapel will be open again next spring. THE RESTAURANT We have now installed patio heaters on our terrace so that you can eat al fresco all year round. Booking is advisable as we have a decreased amount of tables due to social distancing. Please be kind to our staff, abuse will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. RED BARN GALLERY Unfortunately we are not able to hold our annual Christmas preview this year due to Covid restrictions however we still have our usual displays and even more to chose from! Lower Red Barn has now been transformed into an Aladdins cave for the festive period. An eclectic mix of decorations and quality gifts- why go anywhere else this Christmas.  Please read this carefully if you are planning to visit: We are not busy so parking is not an issue but please park considerately. We are sorry but we are unable to accommodate dogs on the premises.  We have a strict one way system in place to enter and exit- the entrance is under the gatehouse and the exit is through the courtyard. DO NOT ENTER via the usual entrance. Black boards will be in place to guide you. Hand sanitiser is available on entry and exit to the nursery, restaurant and red barn please make sure you use it. Trolleys will be available for use around the nursery. After use trolleys should be left out the front in the designated area and we will disinfect them and bring them back in. Please observe social distancing around the nursery. On checkout please wait in the courtyard until the till is free. When free please wheel your trolley into the area and step back whilst your plants are scanned. Please be kind to our staff these rules are for everyones safety.  Because we grow so many plants it is physically impossible to put everything on display- so if there are specific things you require- either give us a ring or email the day before and we ll do our best to bring the plants up for you. The entrance to RED BARN is via the one way system and through the small door in the corner of the courtyard, the exit is onto the road. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding.
