Hannes General 2 Min Read Music FurnitureRecently – through a discussion on the online forum llllllll – I found out about various appearances of modular synths in adverts for Swedish furniture company Ikea. Credit go to users xmacex and Knivtid, who provided the photos and most of the intel. Now, this is interesting for various reasons. Its a clear sign that []

If listening to me rambling for an hour about frontpanels, interface design and how we created the front-facing part of Mutable Instruments Beads and Hexinverters Minphaser, sounds intriguing to you, then [...]

Also Ill try to follow his suggestion and post a bit more often. Lets see how that goes. Hannes Blinking lights 9 Min Read Blinking Lights 008 – On My BehalfUpdates on my own projects have been piling up over the last few weeks. So this edition of Blinking Lights is selfishly all about me. Ambient Nuggets #4: Kurodama Benjamin Mauch by Purlieu Recordings The biggest news is definitely this split release with Benjamin Mauch. Hannes Visual Things 2 Min Read Sketches of Sound, the Papernoise EditionA long time ago I made this drawing for Marc Weidenbaums excellend blog disquiet.com. It was for a series he was doing called Sketches of Sound (hence the title of this post), where he was inviting illustrators to sketch something sound-related.
